I've Been A Busy Bee

My leg is slowly getting stronger. I'm doing Silver Sneakers followed by Chair Yoga, two times per week. At first, I was exhausted and could barely make it home to rest. The combination of the 2 classes (one following the other) has kept me from getting very sore from all of the cardio and weights. That is amazing to me but it works! My physical therapist told me that it would take between 6-8 weeks (2 times per week) for the fatigue to decrease. She also said that around the same point in time, I should notice some big changes in body strength. So far, I've only done 2 classes per week for 3 weeks. I am noticing some changes in strength already which is exciting. I need to be patient and not rush things.
Meanwhile, on my non exercise days, I've been working on my to do list. I am now finished with all of the closets, all of the kitchen cabinets and the bathroom cabinets. I have done a zillion bags of shredding and I'm finally finished! I have 2 book shelves to go through and then I need to wash the throw rugs, the curtains and the dog's bed. I want to box up some of the clutter and get it out of the way. It has been a massive undertaking but I've done it! It has taken me about 3 months to purge all of our unused stuff. I am surprised at how liberating the whole process has been!
