Happy birthday to my biggest supporter, my best friend, my love, my husband.

He is feeling better than the last few weeks, Shingles are rough. Get the vaccine. It will make a difference.

The cake - this is a gluten free eggless chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting. I used 2/3 the sugar called for in the frosting, still yummy. In place of eggs, I made black bean aquafaba and added two mashed bananas. It did not taste "Banana-ry" It tastes rich. I was so pleased. I haven't had cake in years. Really. Truly. I am not over-indulging. We shared it with my son and a friend when they visited, and we have a slice at night. A little one.

Good thing birthdays are just once a year.
Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending on how you look at it, my birthday is the 5th so less than a week away. Hmmm. Let's go with cheesecake for me. Oh so hard to have two birthdays so close.

I had shingles on my back and my butt it was awful. DH had his on his face near his eye and it was touch and go to keep it from getting in to the eye.
He has MD now but he still can drive Thank goodness.
