"What will you do to succeed in the Fall Challenge?"
I will walk on my treadmill, dance, do workout videos, or strength train + cardio for at least 30 minutes every day for 5 days of each week.
I will eat a healthy low carb diet of veggies, meats & chicken, cheeses, nuts, fruits, and will cook with coconut oil, avocado oil, and lots of spices. I will not eat sugar other than a little honey, or starches (as in rice, corn or white flours.) I will have no more than one low carb whole wheat fajita size tortilla and no more than one serving of oatmeal with berries and coconut oil, or honey, cinnamon, and coconut oil per day. I am allowing myself the oatmeal now because I am no longer in phase one of the Atkins diet, and for the health benefits; and besides, it's delicious. :)
I will drink at least 64 oz of water (and maybe a glass of red wine) every day.
I will keep track of everything I eat, drink, and do in my planner and online.
I will renew my motivation daily with quotes, positive self-talk, writing, putting motivational things (prints, cutouts, stickers, etc.) in my planner and journals, and reading.
If I feel I"m having a bad day I will not eat to sooth, I will read, write, listen to music, draw, workout, dance, go for a walk, and/or watch some favorite movies or series shows (horror, of course!)
And I will not reward myself with food cause I'm not a dog... and when it comes to what I "deserve," well, it's not the occasional chocolate bar, slice of pizza, plate of spaghetti, piece of candy, or fast food anything, etc... What I deserve is to finally reach my goal, be healthy, and love being me in the skin I'm in.
I will not be the "victim" saying I CAN'T HAVE this or that, I will say I DON'T WANT this or that because there is power in words.
I will reach my goal because I am determined to be the best me I can be.
and in the small chance that I don't achieve losing my 5% due to plateauing (happens) or other unforeseen aggravations... I will accept that it's ok, and keep on keeping on.
