Mini Physical Yesterday

Wednesday, September 20, 2017

Had my annual physical yesterday before donating (they make you have one if you donate more than ?? times a year - some dumb Health Canada rule). They used to contract it out to a couple of doctors but now the nurses do it (which feels "weird" in my book - sorry). Ended up being real late as they had to do a restart (my right arm wasn't working in spite of the nurse moving the needle so much I felt tenderized- actually it wasn't that bad not to mention I WILL LIE rather than admit it HURT) on my left arm (she made a comment about the huge scar I have on my left- it kind of looks like a crater). Now I have to wait 2 weeks before I can donate again but maybe I need to take sometime off - at least it wasn't like I got deferred or anything.
Have a great day.

They won't even try to get blood from me. I have very little veins and just for a blood test, the techs flip coins to see who is the unlucky one to try to find my vein. LOL Maybe it will go better next time.

I hate when they have to dig for a vein, The last time I had my blood drawn I ended up having bruises on both arms and looked like a junkie.
