At Peace ✌️

Sunday, September 10, 2017

I posted twice on the community feed today. First was this morning about my frustration with only having lost 0.2 pounds this past week. And the second was posting a progress photo of myself. Seeing that picture really made me take a step back. I look 👀 incredible! I live a healthy life, I feel healthy, and now I look 👀 it! I have made peace ✌️ with my body today. I no longer feel the need to mentally torture and abuse myself with daily weigh ins. The standard once a week is fine. If I lose more weight and get down to my original goal 🥅 that's great 😁 but I'm happy 😊 and my body is beautiful the way it is.

Remember this post? Those are the words of a wise woman right there. You're right, you have made it. Some number you picked for your goal weight isn't nearly as important as I look 👀 incredible! I live a healthy life, I feel healthy, and now I look 👀 it! "

The scale is not everything, but it is something and important. Most people say the last 10 or 20 or 30, depending on how far the journey is, are tough. I m in the last 12-15 and they are being obstinate. I am just going to keep on trucking, and keep my focus. Chocolate is worthy for me too, but only if it is inside the low spark recommended range at the end of the day. Congrats and much success.

The scale is not a good judge of character or self-worth. Your positive attitude, feeling healthy and appreciation for your body is worth so much more. Great job!
