We're As Ready As Possible

With the exception of hurricane shutters or plywood boards, we are as ready as possible for hurricane Irma. We have flashlights, candles, canned foods, bread, cereal, water, trash bags, bleach, a first aid kit with extra everything and the dogs are up to date on their shots. Our prescriptions are up to date and our clothes are clean.
We went through four hurricanes in a row back in 2004. We survived that and did okay. I think we'll be okay. Our house is solid, we have food to eat and water to drink. I'm sending out love and prayers to all those folks who are not as fortunate as we.
It is heartwarming to see all of the neighbors outside helping one another. Be safe Florida!
Here it is Sunday at 11:45am and the wind is pickling up and and it is raining hard. The wind is at times making the rain come down sideways. There are wind gusts now of 35-40 mph. We are safe.
