If you have a weakness for pastry, likely best you skip today's blog! This is a Winona's cinnamon roll:
I've been in town 25 years, and Winona's has been producing these eye-poppers the entire time. Warm, yeasty, with a cream cheese glaze dripping over the sides - they are memorable!
In the "old days" I would buy one for each of my staff if we had a long staff meeting scheduled. Some protested the cinnamon rolls were too big. In the "old days" my answer was "If it's too big you haven't trained properly." NOW this treat gets cut into quarters (or smaller) and is shared with a whole table of people!
p.s. Not only is the fire still blazing, but there is another lightning generated fire near Trappers Lake. I just couldn't dwell on the fire today.
