Just made over 5 k for today. I am tired. Travel and the steps of the previous two days will do that. My nutrition is not spot on, but I have been trying to make the best of the options during travel. Some decisions are good, others not so much. In fact, I went downstairs so I could walk out my final steps to meet goal today. Now I am done.
Snacks for travel
V-8 low sodium
Plenty of water
Gluten free eggless walker shortbread cookies (only 1 or 2 at a time) had one yesterday, one today. Maybe one later with a cup of tea.
I had one butterscotch candy yesterday.
No cakes, pies, dessert.
I have fruit left from my breakfast with craisins, sweet pecans, apple slices, grapes.
Breakfast today - grits, home fries, 2 slices bacon, 1/2 of fruit cup and coffee.
Lunch - apple slices one cookie, grapes, ( breakfast was late)
Supper - grilled chicken nuggets from chick- fil- a with fries (oops) and milk. So today is on point with fat, under for carbs, protein and calcium. I have more fruit for tonight's snack, and that cuppa tea and a cookie. Worn out today. Tomorrow will be full busy, with a church potluck. Being allergic to eggs and eating GFmakes my options limited and keeps me from the desserts. Then Monday my grandson's birthday party.
Getting healthier while making one little wise decision after another. And sometimes it means making best choices of your options.
