Why I stick to Spark People.

In January a co-worker and I decided that we needed to loose weight and live a healthy lifestyle. Here weight was 175 and mine was 210. We both joined the gym, and started eating more balanced meals. We both started trying different vegetables and fruit. We both cut our coffee down from 4 - 5 cups a day to 1 or 2 a day. No soda, no sugary drinks. Eating whole grain foods, etc. We both took different approaches.
I choose spark people, she choose to eat healthy without junk food. I count all my calories here on spark people and allow myself some junk food but only when it fits into my pie chart. I also try to make sure my calories in are less than my calories out. My co-worker goes from losing a few pounds but keeps putting it back on. She is still the same weight as when we started. She still wears the same size close and gets very discouraged because she seems to be getting nowhere. Today I am down to 166. I went from a 3 extra large shirt and size 18 pants to 1x shirt and size 12 pants.
I owe my results to spark people. Spark People works well for me. I enter my food and exercise each morning to start my day. I love reading all the articles which help me to make healthy choices. I start a new challenge the day after my old challenge ends. The challenges have taught me so much about healthy living. I still have a way to go to reach my goal but with Spark People I will get there. I Have made Spark People a part of my daily life and will continue to use the trackers when I do meet my goals. Thank you all for your support and help. I love this community that has become a big part of my life.
