I have lost 21.5 lbs since 4/16. Lots of speed walking, staying on track eating within calorie range daily. I do realize I need more sleep as I was getting up daily at 4 am to go walking even in the dark. The last 4 days, I have been very sore and weak and have been sleeping in until 7 am. Instead of speed walking, I have been walking slower on the beach but I am still feeling weak. Today, I am going to do no excercise even though it is hard on me mentally. Logically, I know that I need to listen to my body but it is still hard to not push myself. My body is not cooperating letting me do the things I want to do right now so I must allow myself to rest and recover so that I can meet my fitness goals which involve mainly running road races like I was doing 2 years ago before knee surgery after a fall.
