Rest is good--or so I hear!

I apparently have a real problem taking a break from exercising. It's like I'm afraid that if I take one day off, it will lead to another and then the downward spiral of not exercising at all! Been there, done that. I have to get a mindset that it is ok to take one day off each week or so--but that is hard to do. I wear a Fitbit and it "nags" me on the hour to get up and move. On a rest day I don't want to move every hour! I didn't get my 10,000 steps in today--didn't really plan to--but did some house cleaning and did get in some strength training. Tomorrow I wil be back to my morning walk for each week day. And eventually I will learn this good habit of rest too! SparkPeople has helped me form several new good habits--after 3 months of food tracking, it has become second nature!
