Hard work

I'm sure I have wrote up a blog about this but I cant remember everything.

The conversations you have with yourself in your head seem to hit so much harder than the talks you have with a friend. I was just thinking about how I never have energy to exercise. Then I tell myself how it just isnt due to broken or little sleep, it also has to do with what you eat.

I eat horribly. It is hard to change what you eat when living with other people. Im not using that as an excuse but when I want to fix something healthy for dinner, meaning trying something new, the other people whine and moan. I have lightened up some of our old recipes so thats good.

We just need to try harder and think before fixing something to eat. There are times where I forget to sit something out so we just eat out. Afterwards I always sit there with a full belly thinking about all the fat and sodium I just ate. Something we could have done was just fix breakfast or a peanut butter and jelly sami with some veggies. Or just fix a veggie dish. Roasted veggies over rice.

We just need to stay focused. We know we have to work for this. We know we have to work HARD and that this isnt easy. If we stay positive then it shouldnt be so hard. Just watch the sugar, salt, carbs, and fat ( the good stuff hahahaha) and we should do great.

    Changing habits is challenging work! Just pick one thing you can do consistently one week. Like drinking 8 glasses of water a day or one healthy food choice per day. You can do it one thing at a time. 😀
