Oops I did it again!

I am told frequently I do too much. Do I listen? Of course not!
Friday, I got the step ladder out to try to corral the overgrown mess of a bush that's on the property line. We have a 3-foot retaining wall there as the neighbor's yard is lower. I was quitting as I was a little nervous close to the edge of the property. With one foot on the ground and the other foot coming off the ladder, the ladder toppled down to the neighbor's property and I followed. I scraped the back of my knee and landed on my back. It took the wind out of me.
The next morning, after hearing me groan when trying to sit down, stand up or bend over, my daughter said it was time for x-rays. So off to the hospital I went. After 3 breaks in my back, it's better to be safe that sorry.
I was at the hospital from 10:45 to 6:15. My potassium was low. I had a few strains and sprains. The most surprising thing was that the doctor told me I had a break that was healing. I remember my back hurting at the beginning of July, but I honestly don't remember hitting it on anything.
I took it very easy Saturday and Sunday, getting only a little more than 2000 steps in. Pathetic but necessary. I learned a lesson for now. Either nag my girls enough to do things or hire someone and give them the bill!
