Frustrated and In Between Sizes

Thursday, August 03, 2017

I'm stuck.

I mean, yes, the scale is a bit stuck at the moment, but I'm working on that part. But, practically speaking, I am stuck between sizes. In EVERYTHING.

I seem to be:

A Medium And A Half in shirts
A 33 in bras
An 11 (and not in a junior's department sort of way) in pants
A 6 3/4 in shoes

Seriously, i feel like nothing ever fits. I'm not sure it'll be any better in 5, 10, 20 pounds, but at least if I'm thinking, 'oh woe is me I am a size 9' I would be a freaking size 8/10 and I will have made some progress on the scale.

It doesn't help that I'm also super short, but at least I have 30+ years of experience in pants being too long.

Soooooo, in case you can't tell, I've been shopping recently. :) Yes, I'm happy to be a medium and a half instead of an extra large. Yes, I'm happy to be shopping in the petite section instead of the plus size section. But damn, what's a short girl gotta do to get some freaking jeans that fit?!?!?

Can anyone relate?

YES I can so related to the between sizes things! So many things do NOT fit me right now.

Oh except the pants thing. I'm 5'8" with rather long legs so my problem with pants is that they're always too short.

Seeing frustration in the blogs this morning. I'm 5'3 and it has always been hard to find pants in the right length. I get them long and hem to the length I like. If you don't sew, many dry cleaners offer alterations for a decent price.Don't give up!
