While we were in Llandudno we went to an exhibition in one of the churches. It was called 'The knitted Bible'
They started with Creation and then portrayed a lot of the major stories of the Bible in knitted form. Here's Noah's ark.
and Joseph in his amazing technicolour dream coat!
I liked the whale spitting out Jonah on the shore.
Knitting all these sheep kept someone out of mischief!!
Here's the wedding at Cana, where Jesus turned water into wine.
I thought this one was clever, when the friends let their paralysed friend down through the roof for Jesus to heal.
Here's Zacchaeus up the sycamore tree
The Last Supper (done in Leonardo da Vinci style!)
Jesus carrying His cross
The empty tomb
And finally I loved this one of when Jesus appeared to the disciples by the lake and they had the miraculous catch of fish. You probably can't see it but there are lots of knitted fish in the nets.
I thought the exhibition was brilliant. (There were some other stories but I didn't photograph everything).
I hope you've enjoyed it too!
