Choo Choo ... Back on the Train

I had a rough 3 weeks with too much travel and therefore too much food and booze and not enough routine and exercise. And the scale shows it.

Overall, it's not that bad. I'm basically up about 2 pounds. But given it takes a month (if I'm lucky) to lose 2 pounds, that's a significant derailment of my efforts.

I did some things well while i was gone. I had pretty healthy breakfasts (lots of egg whites and protein shakes), I exercised fairly regularly, and I limited my drinks at the bar after the meetings.

But, I stopped tracking calories entirely, I had at least one drink nearly every day, I had too many desserts to count, and I skipped the gym several times due to exhaustion/jet lag/laziness.

Now I'm back, and for ~6 weeks I plan to be much, much better behaved. I've set up my third and final DEXA scan and RD follow-up for the end of August so I am going to buckle down and get some more weight/fat off. I'm also going to dig in at boot camp and step up my activity outside of class. And of course I'm already back to tracking food, which is a HUGE key for me.
