While reading through some articles today, I realized that I had been missing out on me time for months on end and it's reflecting on my overall health.
This week had been great and I am reaping the dividends too. I started with sleeping early to exercising twice daily to watching movies for relaxation and finally deciding not to worry or stress myself about any issue that is beyond me.
I went back for my vitals today and I can satisfactorily say that the "ME time" is working. The doctor actually asked what I have been doing because the difference is clear.
Me time is simply the period you have dedicated to yourself and be disengaged from anything or everything that stresses you out. For me, indoors relaxes me a lot. I hope to do more of that in the coming months. When I mean indoors it's not just sleeping but either active or inactive, I love to do it in the house.
