I see so many ladies and gentlemen saying the words that nobody really wants to say or hear and it hurts my spirit. Why do they say that they are starting over? I know, I know, they left SP Land for a short or long period of time, thus STARTING OVER! They went on vacation and didn't do well, so, OOPS, STARTING OVER! They had medical issues that got in the way and oh my gosh, STARTING OVER!!! Am I sounding like a broken record? That's because I am!
I left SP Land for almost two years, because of medical issues that I was not able to heal from and I was discouraged because I felt Iike I was holding my team back, which wasn't true, according to my wonderful teammates. I had so much stress with one doctor or surgeon after another and my head felt like it was spinning around, like Linda Blair's in the Exorcist. So, I left to help my body heal.
Now I am back and I AM NOT STARTING OVER and neither is anyone else! You see we all chose to embark on this JOURNEY/TRIP, for one reason or another, but we all have a common goal. Now, when you really get in your car and you're going on a trip, and you hit a detour, what happens? Go ahead and say it out loud. You get diverted to another road, right? Just because you have been diverted to another road, doesn't mean you have to go back home and start your trip all over again. The detour takes you around whatever may be happening on the road to keep you safe. Eventually, the detour brings you back out on the main road that you were on and you keep going to your destination, correct?
So, why should it be any different with the journey/trip that we are on? When we go on vacation, we have hit a detour. When we struggle with our medical issues or medical issues of a loved one, we have hit a detour. Even, when you choose to leave SP Land for whatever reason and then come back, you have hit a DETOUR, but that detour has come back out on the main road, which is SP LAND!!!
There is no reason for anyone to say that they are starting over unless you don't get this blog. We have all been on detours since we have been here, and we have all come back on to the main road, and some of you with GREAT success.
So, here's to the many detours that we may face

and ending up back on the main road!
Blessings!
