The 4th of July

Thursday, July 05, 2007

This is the first time I really got off course on my diet. But it has really taught me the values of foods. Such a small amount of junk food really makes my calorie intake huge. I'm taking the falling off of the wagon as a learning lesson. It was not that I really craved the food, because I enjoy the healthy food just as much. It's just that it was available, and I felt like I needed to celebrate the 4th of July a long with everyone else.

It's normal to occasionally have unhealthy food, but I want to make the healthy food the most dominate in my life. And the junk food an occasional thing. If I consider it off limits I tend to over indulge once I make the decision to have some. It's a learning process, but I will get this healthy lifestyle down. I must do it, and I will do it!

Keeping my eating habits recorded really does make a difference. It's teaching me about myself.
