My Emaginary Bike...

Saturday, July 08, 2017

No I am not crazy lol. You see I have several reasons most who aren't on this journey of Healthy Living an Weight loss would say your Right so don't work out. you see my health isn't great. I deal with fibromyalgia an problems with my neck , spine an shoulders just to name a few. then let's not forget to add in currently here in Las Vegas Nevada we are under heat advisary's according to my weather channel app at one point today it said 116. So your wondering what's this got to do with a Emaginary Bike lol. Simple I decided this time around I would apply my same rules I use in life to working out. Because of my struggles with my health an pretty much being alone I always look for ways I can continue to do things an remain independent. An I never make a excuse. if a way can be found to say mop my floors that I can handle an afford you bet I will make sure I get it so I can do it. when I started again my doctor an I had a talk he won'ted me to excerise in the pool only. ok then it lead to a problem. number one I don't have a car so I can't go to excerise classes that are done in the pool. number two I learned when I got into the pool here in my apartments with my shoulders so messed up I could not swim an I really couldn't tread water to keep myself afloat in the deep end for any length of time it became to painful in my shoulders. then I got a bright idea. I went to 99 cent store an bought 2 pool noodles only $2 an a wonderful solution. then when I got into pool uses my noodles i could tread water with no pain in my shoulders what's so ever. but I quickly became board with it an found I just won'ted to lay back relax an enjoy the pool. I knew this wouldn't do. so I found I could ride a Emaginary evinsable bike in the pool. granted this may be used in a pool excerise class some where but I never been to one so what I created for me was straight from my own emagination an ideas. I hold two noodles to my chest an wrap my arms around then I move my legs pumping like I am riding a bike. at the pool here there is a rope separating the deep end from the shallow so I ride my bike back an forth from side to side of the pool then after a few times I do what I call my crunches in the pool an this all moves me from one end to other. I continue to hold the noodles an lay back flat in the water an pull my knees up towards my chest I do this for a lil then switch back to riding my bike. I can ride my bike fast or slow. in other words like a real bike the hard you pump the faster you go.an the opposite unless your going downhill the slower you pump the slower you go. I usually workout 10+ minutes each day. I don't have a set time I do this because of the issues in my body if I don't listen to my body I can really make my pain an tiredness worse. but once I am through working out I don't get wright out of the pool I usually lay back an float an look at the sky an relax an just enjoy being in the pool an usually I give myself a pat on the back mentially because I feel I have beat another moutain in my life. I may always have to find different ways to do things but I feel that's just life. some can go through an do things I just can't do but you bet I won't let it stop me I am a fighter and in my mind my latest victory was my Emaginary Bike. an it works to I have lost another 2 pounds between healthy mindful eating an working out in the pool riding my Emaginary Bike.
