Getting back at it
Wednesday, July 05, 2017
I've been massively occupied with my partner who has been ill for weeks with what turns out to be a string of coincidences seemingly connected to his heart - complicated and debilitating but fortunately not fatal as it turns out. He is not an easy patient and with the amount of time I gave to what seemed to be a serious situation, some things had to give and Spark was one of them.
Yesterday he had his virtually last appointment and I went for a lovely walk in the morning sun in my favourite park which is close to where the appointment was. I was reminded of what a pleasure it can be to move my body and breathe in some fresh air. A very happy twenty minutes.
So - today is a new day and I've already been out and enjoyed some walking. More later I hope. That park is such a joy - my walking group starts from there and now I have the time for it again - also I found out yesterday that they always need volunteers to keep it all under control so I'll be doing some of that too once they timetable me in so I can help keep the flowers and planting arrangements in trim. A particularly good day with good news for my partner and a new interest for me.
Altogether life is looking up and I Iook forward to re-connecting with Spark friends here again.
