July - 317 Days Back on Spark!

Today marks 317 consecutive days that I've checked in to Spark. Have I had 317 days of perfect choices? NO. Am I healthier today than I was 316 days ago? YES. I am about 40 pounds lighter than I was on that first day. It's not about every small choice - it's about staying the course, no matter what.
I'm not on the road the next two weeks (except for one day). My goals are to do at least 30 minutes of morning cardio and about 20 minutes of strength training and stretching daily. I've been struggling with night cravings really badly. So I'm going to break out the protein shakes again and have one after dinner to stave off the urge to eat. I have learned that protein helps me with that. I'm also going to be on every morning to do my Sparkpoints - ALL OF THEM. That's another valuable lesson I've learned. If I take the time to focus on learning more about healthy habits, blogging and reading about others, then I'm more motivated and "have my mind right."
