Three Tidbits

I am on the Cloverleaf Team for the Summer 5% Challenge. This practice week we are to share three things about ourselves each day - either on on our SparkPage or on a Blog.
1) I love Winnie the Pooh -- I have a 6 foot tall Winnie the Pooh sitting above our front door. We bought it at a garage sale in Oak Park, IL in 1979. It used to be in the children's department in Sears.
2) I have spent the night in the tallest building in Inverness, Scotland. It was the hospital. I had a kidney stone attack. So, someday I want to go back to Scotland and hopefully have a better visit.
3) Today, I experienced a quilter's dream. I went over to a friend's house. She had two BIG boxes of quilt tops that a great-great aunt made in the late 1800's-early 1900's. We looked at every top - there were over 50 tops. Some were nicely pieced patterns, i.e. double wedding ring, nine-patches etc. Others were crazy pieced backings. My friend wants me to make them into quilts. This will be a challenge, but fun..
