181/365 - finally have my computer back!

I have my computer back so I can finally get back on SP...that app is ok, but not great!

I am feeling great in terms of my meal plan - still being good 5-6 days a week and splurging 1-2 days a week. Each week I think I overdid it and I'll gain back, but each week I've lost a bit more. It sure isn't a rapid loss, but it isn't painful and I can sustain this. That is more important to me.

I am now down 30.8 lbs since the beginning of the year. Unbelievable. I am so excited, because I am now 100% confident that I'll start 2018 at my goal weight.

I still struggle with the exercise, though. I really need to get some lifting in to get toned. I've been struggling with back and sciatic issues and that has put a big damper on exercising, but I need to start doing SOMETHING.

    Good job on the weight loss! And yeah, I have back problems too - it can help to do a lot of crunches and other core exercises. (My dr sent me to "back school" at one point, so I just keep doing some of those exercises.)

    I added planks to strengthen my back. Mine constantly gives me problems but they have been less after I started with planks. You are right doing spark on a phone or other small device is a headache!

    To support those back muscles, I sometimes put on those rubber exercise belts for a little while to help prevent painful bouts. I do this whenever I'm going to do yard work or other activities requiring a lot of bending. Congrats on your loss. That is sooooo fabulous. I'll write about Harry in the next day or so. I think it's just old age and parts wearing out. I do take great care of him, which gives me comfort knowing he's in no distress. Love this little rascal! (smiling)

    You are doing fantastic! Your plan is really paying off. So glad you got your computer back too. I need to work on back exercises and have been checking them out. I know my core is weak.

    Have you seen a physical therapist to get some exercises that will improve your back and sciatica? Once you get those straightened out, you should be able to add other exercises comfortably.
