How do you control your worry?
Tuesday, June 20, 2017
How many times are you faced with worry? Several hundred times a day? If so, you aren't far behind everyone else. In our society it seems like an everyday occurrence. Our worrisome thoughts seem to go round and round in our head throughout our day. There is however, something we can do to keep from being a worrywart.
We will need to find out what is making us worry. What has us so fearful that all we do is think about it all day long.
Once we determine what it is we need to make a decision on what we can do to change it. Or rather what we have to change in ourselves or our surroundings that will alleviate that fear.
We need to write down what we need to change and who, what, when and where are those changes going to take place. Remember a goal isn't a goal unless it's written down.
What are these changes going to do to us? How will it make our worry any less?
Do we want to stay a worrywart forever? If the answer is no, then seems to me like change is inevitable.
When we create a plan it helps us to focus more on what a better outcome will be. If that plan calls for steps to follow, that in itself, will help eliminate some of our worry.
Affirmation for the Week:
"I acknowledge that the only constant in life is change and am prepared for it."
So how about it, are you a worrywart or do you take the bull by the horns and do everything in your power to be worry free?
Just for kicks ~
