Hello friends! I am trying to get active on the site again and return to blogging. May is my favorite month of the year, and in most respects it was a good month.
My goal was to eat 1450 calories or less with 75% accuracy. I met that goal 19/31 days this month, which is 61% accuracy. Close!
This month I earned 1,625 fitness minutes. I had plenty of cardio and some strength training. My goal for June is to earn 2,500+ fitness minutes. I have done it before, and I will do it again!
WEIGHT AND MEASUREMENTS
I gained one pound last month. I went from 166 to 167. I tracked my food and exercise religiously, and on paper I don't see how I'm not losing weight. I have suspected a thyroid problem for years but my doctor isn't seeing it the way I do ... I will update as I learn more. Or maybe I could write a blog on the topic? Advice and insight is always welcome. No measurements this month.
OTHER MAY ACCOMPLISHMENTS
I read 6 books last month: A New Earth, Rethinking Interviews, Rethinking Resumes, The Empire Strikes Back, A Comedy of Errors, and THe Murder of Roger Ackroyd.
I had a lovely 30th birthday.
I enjoyed sweets in moderation and did not gain either!
My top accomplishments . . . refreshed my Microsoft Office skills.
My top challenges . . . getting frustrated with gaining and losing within the same 5-pound range.
Where to spend more time . . . being active on SparkPeople; going through my mess and clutter.
Where to spend less time . . . at the computer.
Places I visited . . . historic downtown of a city nearby.
Movies I loved . . . no movies, but enjoyed the series Outlander.
