My usual exercise is walking. When I walk (not as often as I should), I average two miles which take me about 35 minutes and equals 180 - 200 calories. Well, I just discovered that using the elliptical for 20 minutes I burn 210 calories. So for the past two days, I have been doing two 20 minutes workout and burning 420 calories.
The best news is that this new routine seems doable. I actually enjoy watching tv while working out.
Things are looking brighter.
