My new program

Tuesday, June 13, 2017

Well I got the Nutrisystem Uniquely Yours Plan: Men, Favorites Pack (4 week plan) with the Turbo Takeoff (1 Week). Everything is marked, breakfast, shake, lunch, snack, dinner. Just need to go out and buy fresh fruit and vegs. With this system, I should lowest weight just by diet alone. So, I just got to stick with it and fight the urges to eat bad food. I also, emptied out the house of all the useless crap foods. It cost a bit of money but I think it’s cheap when I typed down how much money I use to spend on my food. So, I am saving money there. On top of that the food tastes surprisingly good. I started it 2 days ago I wonder if it will affect the weigh in this week at all, I guess I will see.

Also, bought a lot of workout things. New workout shoes, Stability Ball, AB Wheel, A Steep Deck, Massage bar for my legs and back, Wrist Weights 2.5lb each and 5lb each. Everything I need to get me through summer and beyond. The reason I got the wrist weights is because my upper body is in much need of strengthening. Everything else to self explanatory, I need it all during this season to help me get passed my heavy weight issue.

With that said today I kind of pushed myself hard and did 3 miles nonstop within an hour. I felt like the most awesome person in the world. Of course that feeling went away when my legs basically said “What in the world do you think you are doing?”, followed by the lovely feeling of tight muscles. I had to do a bit stretching before I felt better. At work I had to go up and down a ton of stairs today and oh man did I feel it due to the workout this morning, it wasn’t painful just a bit tight though. I wonder how my legs are going to feel in the morning.

So, in summary, saved money, food tastes great, its way easier to track food intake and I had an awesome workout day. Yet another step forward in the right direction….. Time to do some Wall squats. LOL!

Sounds great, Dragon Brother! You are on fire! You are so right. It seems like a hard change, ditching the junk for the good stuff, but eating properly really does feel good, once we start. The cravings disappear after ten days, for me. After that point, it is much easier--unless I don't sleep enough. Lack of sleep makes me crave salty/starchy/fatty foods or sugar. Ech. I hate that!

Good luck with the sore legs! I am starting back to strength training today, after a bit of a break, and I know stairs will be rough tomorrow. It's okay. Muscles recover, and build back stronger! As I climb the stairs tomorrow, I will think of you, doing exactly the same!
