At Least I'm Walking

The good news is that I had a great nap Saturday. The bad news is that I overslept and it was too late for me to get to the fitness center if I wanted to finish before closing time.

The good news is that I took a walk in the park (managed to do it during that 2-hour gap between rainstorms), as I did the day before as well. It wasn't all walking since I was doing a lot of Pokémon Go hunting and fighting. However, I must have gotten in a good 45 minutes or more both days.

That was in spite of bad pain (maybe 6-7 on a scale of 10) in my right hip due to spinal canal stenosis. The pain subsided as I walked, so apparently the walking eases rather than aggravates the condition. Also, at one point, I did a standing forward bend. I could hear the snap, crackle and pop in my spine - which my orthopedist says is normal - and I felt better. I need to remember to do more forward bends!

Meanwhile, shoulders back and down, chin back, butt and stomach tucked in - as I use the computer and other activities throughout the day. It might be good to put pop-up reminders on my computer!
