Salad is a real summertime lunch favorite for me (just as soup is a favorite for fall and winter).
I'm always looking for ways to pack in the flavor and the nutrients to those salads.
Here are some foods I regularly have in my salad:
---romaine lettuce, kale, cabbage
---walnuts or almonds
---kidney beans or chick peas
Sometimes I include some canned salmon or tuna.
Today, I experimented with making a yogurt salad dressing. I mixed it with mustard, vinegar, and some brown sugar.
The dressing was delicious; I will make it again for sure.
