Why I left my home town to live in Hawaii

Saturday, June 10, 2017

I moved to Hawaii one year ago. I came here to live in the jungle off grid and to start a food forest. I want to be able live off my land one day. I have solar power, a rain water catchment, & there isn't mail or trash service. Now all I need is my orchard of trees to produce. Meanwhile I have raised beds for veggies and a greenhouse to build. Health is the most important thing to me. I have been sick and never want to be there again. I am feeling better than I ever have. Eating well and exercising is the main thing. Everything else kinda just falls into place.🌴🍍🍌☉ Vitamin D without supplements. I am vegan. Fresh air is abundant here. I just simply feel happy here with all the natural beauty. Hawaii has helped me be a better person for me & others. I love it here. 🌴🍍🍌☉🌴🍍🍌☉

We shop the markets in Kona, and Hilo, eat carefully and always feel better there. We missed this year but have our long stay booked for Feb, March, and part of April. I admire your decision to live as you now do. Aloha

You are living the dream. Especially being off the grid. I know people living in Hawaii, because we visit every has a mac farm, chickens, goats and a yurt for guests... the other is a Costco regular/ for everything and grows nothing.
