Do I need to report this?

Ok. I fell off the bed. Not in the usual manner where you are stretched out horizontally, roll over and hit the floor. Oh no. I juiced it up a bit.
I climbed upon the bed like a 12 yr. old and stood up. The bed in my guest room is in the corner and I was trying to reach a dust bunny up where the ceiling meets the wall. My BIL is coming to spend the weekend. So, must have clean room. Yes?
Somewhere in this process, for some reason, (?) I took a step backwards. My foot met nothing but air. I had stepped off the end of the bed. They don't call it the end of the bed for nothing. It is where the bed ends.
So, this giant and unexpected downward step threw me backwards and I grabbed the pedestal fan to keep myself from falling. However, I just seemed to wrap my bod around the pedestal fan and fall with it on top of me. I also twisted in mid-air to keep from falling with the pedestal fan under me.
So I ended up sort of leaning against the closet door, (imagine a drunk slouched against an alley wall) wrapped around the pedestal fan, with my right foot on the bed and my left knee sort of twisted in an awkward position. Ouch!
Good thing the bed was soft, the carpeted floor was soft and no one caught this on video.
I sat very still for a while, assessing my body and decided I was fortunate not to have broken anything, especially my hip with no cartilage.
I had just had my chiropractic adjustment earlier in the day. Too bad it wasn't set for today. I could probably use it now. My knee is a little tender but I'm doing knee exercises and wearing a stretchy knee support on it. It is a little tender on the back side of my knee but no other backside hurts at all. Silver lining.
When I told Joe about it he said, "Ok, the next time you go to the doctor and they ask you that annoying question, 'Have you fallen lately?' you have to report this". LOL. Won't tell you what I said to Joe.
The last time I fell was 18 yrs ago but that is another story.
