Yo yo numbers

I'm working hard on getting my GD numbers, trying to sort out why my numbers are high when they are, and why they are good. Due to some insurance problems, I will probably NOT see the nutritionist tomorrow. *sighs* Insurance is a pain. But I will get there. My high# for the day was 147, and I'm guessing it was because of the white rice.
Most people in the house dislike whole grain rice, which I don't understand. But we'll figure it out.
My water has been good; 6 cups today. I'm thinking of joining the no sugar challenge, but I know from trying it before that it's hard with so many people in the house. I have been doing my best to reduce (not eliminate, not yet! I tried that once, it backfired) my sugar intake. I'm having some cravings, but not too bad. So I think I'm on the right track.
I've been eating at home more; PBJ has become a standard lunch. I have such a hard time coming up with good lunch ideas!
