Yes I'm back on the fitness track. And I'm almost back on the healthy eating track, too. I overate healthy food yesterday.
I sort of bombed the end of the Spring Challenge, apologies to my Rowdy Rebels. I plan to rejoin you at the end of this month for the Summer Challenge and see if I can do better. Spending a girls' weekend down the shore and enjoying entirely too many donuts, danish and MUCH TOO MUCH delicious fudge really did me in for a few days, despite how active I was. And then, upon coming home, emotions got in the way and the eating didn't stop right away.
This weekend my husband is traveling to Canada to see his mother. His very first time traveling somewhere without me since we got married, and it was like pulling teeth to get him to go at all. I'm planning on having the walking group ladies over on Sunday after our walk for a nice healthy brunch. Other than that one event, I plan on going it solo and seeing how I do. He'll be gone Saturday morning through Tuesday evening so I'll really only be totally alone on Monday.
I'm waddling a bit today because I did a 2 hours lower body workout yesterday and my hamstrings are sore, which is a great thing! Here's my weights workout:
I did everything except the Romanian Deadlifts and thrusts with 20/25/30 lbs per hand. The Deadlifts were 80/90/100 total and the thrusts were 40/45/50 total. My handweight set only goes up to 52.5lbs each so I definitely thing joining a gym is in my future. We'll see. :)
