Yea and plans

I weighed myself yesterday and was amazed by the results. I had been off program for three month and I expected to have gained a little. I lost 8.4 pounds instead! I'm stunned. I guess I did learn something when I was on program last year. I just need to stick with it and I will get to my goal.

My stress level went way up the other evening thanks to my son not feeling well and being in such a foul mood that he kept picking at every little thing until we argued. Yesterday just went well - no arguments, a quick grocery store run, chocolate ice cream and a delicious dinner with leftovers for tonight.

I have quite a few things on my to do list this week. I'm going to do what I can each day so my furniture can get put back into my room this weekend. A couple months ago I noticed my bedroom carpet was wet and wouldn't dry. It took a couple calls to the office and having several different maintenance guys over to get the problem fixed. My water heater had a leak. I'd reported it to them a long time ago, but the maintenance guys then said it was just the unit sweating or my dog peeing on the carpet. LMAO - both were insane reasons, but I had to disprove them and wait until the weather got warmer in case they needed to go under the house. New maintenance guys now because many complaints on the old ones. Calling the office more and the new guys found the problem. The water heater had a slow leak the has caused the wallboard in closet to become so wet it was molding and had to be replaced, and the carpet in one area to stay so wet that it had to re removed from the room. The replaced it with wood look linoleum. Everything in my room had to come put for this to happen. I had to throw out molded luggage, boxes and some stored clothes and bedding. I'm going through every box and drawer before putting things back in my room. I'm getting rid of things that are not really needed or loved: and I'm organizing whats kept so things are finally where I want them. I'm even going to hand up the clothes I had in drawers because the closet had too much stored in it. I still have several plastic storage boxes but they are going to make a cat climbing area along one wall in my room so I'll have room to actually use the closet for clothes. I'm keeping my small desk and file cabinet in the living room to open up space outside the closet for the bins. Organizing the living room is the next project. My room comes first.
