Trying a new attitude - charting a new course to health

Normally I start yet another new diet (cough life style change) and I complain about it. I have been listening to one of the great courses on health (lifelong health). The speaker said that we are charting our course toward health and that even little 1% shifts can make a huge difference in where you end up on a boat if you travel along that path long enough.

So I am going to try not to complain too much and I am working on little shifts in health to get me started which is better than doing nothing.

The first shift is to get back to eating at home and packing my food for work instead of ordering in or grabbing fast food.

At home I try to eat organic and healthy yet some how I have no problems eating unnatural fats and GMO at McDonalds and Taco Bell. So this is my first course correction - to not eat at fast food or unhealthy eating out choices. (Work my way to zero knowing that I may do it some but work to make it less and less until it is very rare to none)

Also to log what I eat no matter what. I may think I am eating okay but I have to be eating enough to sustain my overweight else I would be losing. So logging will help me find the problem areas for the next course correction.
