13. What has been the hardest life style change you've made for the sake of losing weight, getting fit, or becoming healthier? Any tips for making that change easier?

Sticking to a diet. I have gone back and forth from vegetarian/vegan to low-carb and after a few days of losing, the weight has gone back up. So frustrating. When I went vegan before, the weight came off easily and I enjoyed the food. Now, nothing is working. Iā€™m still battling the last 10 pounds and doing the yo-yoing dance. I can't pick one diet and stick to it.

    I agree with the other 2 posts. I don't follow specific diet plans but do a hybrid that works for me better. I concentrate on whole healthy foods with high nutrient value.

    Have to agree w/MSLOUIE3 . . . when my focus went from DIET to healthy lifestyle and doing this for my health, it became easier.

    And you know, sometimes we have to put together our own type of nutrition plan. Maybe parts of the vegetarian, low carb nutrition plans put together that work/worked for you.

    When all else fails, get back to the basics. Do what has worked in the past for you and build on that.

    Good luck! HOpe this makes sense. Bottom line is you want to find a nutrition plan that you can stick to.

    I pull from many sources to create a low carb, high peotein meal plan that works for me and is sustainable. For me, when I stopped saying DIEt, my perspective changed.
