5/24/17 – Day 11
11. What do you like most about your body? Has what you like most about your body changed as you've progressed towards your goals?

Then (How I responded 5 years ago) - I have been trying to figure out what I like best about my body. That has changed over the years. I use to say my eyes. At another time I said my legs, or being short. I have liked any number of different things over the years, but I’m having trouble now at age 66 picking one thing. I have been thinking about this for several days, because, of course, I had read the questions ahead of time. Finally I have decided. Three years ago, I was having an allergic reaction and the doctors couldn’t pinpoint what was causing my rash and hives. I decided to eliminate the hair color and go au natural! I feel that I’m very lucky because I have a beautiful silver color. Because of my healthy eating and lack of chemicals, it is healthy and shiny and reflects the light. Age has had a way of diminishing the beauty of many of my parts, but the highlights and sparkle floating round my head are a monument to my endurance and perseverance.

Now – The body doesn’t get more beautiful when we are my age. Even if we are healthy and a good weight, there are wrinkles and sags. So I have to go with my above choice of my hair. It is still beautiful, silvery, and healthy. It is what gets me the most compliments.

Nice hair compliments all the rest. My hair is all silver now too and I would never consider changing it.
