6. What has been most challenging about maintaining a weight loss (now or in the past)?
First, trying to relax and find a balance. If I gain 2-3 pounds, I freak out and am afraid that the scale will keep moving up. I, then, try to change too many things (different diet, extreme diet, etc.), which may or may not work for a day or two and then the scale will go back up. I need to adopt a reasonable diet and stick with it for the long haul despite day-to-day fluctuations. And, secondly, the number and type of social functions I attend. Every function involves food, sweets, and alcohol. Next comes boredom and grief! I need to work on all three areas.
