Good morning everyone. Today I start my first injection of Synvisc for my left knee. It puts lubrication back into that knee where there isn’t any. Synvisc (hylan G-F 20) is a type of osteoarthritis knee pain treatment called a viscosupplement or hyaluronan injection prescribed for treatment of osteoarthritis of the knee in patients who have failed to respond to simple analgesics. This injection depending on how well your knee responds may take 1-5 injections
weekly until relief is felt. It also has a noninflammatory in it. Maybe with these I can get back to doing my Leslie Sansone DVDs and start walking better.
Yesterday I was quite busy outside. Mowing grass, weed eating, tearing down bushes and cleaning patio furniture. I got A LOT of sun and a bit burned but I feel so good.
Sciatic is still at bay and when I even feel a bit of a tingle I sit on my tennis shoe and get immediate relief. I'm so glad my daughter sent me that article.
That's about it for today. I hope and pray everyone has a productive day. Blessings ~ Donna
Just for kicks ~
