Friday and Saturday -- 12 & 13

Saturday, May 13, 2017

Friday -- DGD did my nails for me for Mother's Day. They are pink and pretty. Was able to cut some calories, but didn't get in my exercise. We had a low cal stirfry with grilled chicken. In the morning, we had a fairly high protein breakfast. I have discovered that the amount of carbs Spark wants us to have is not right for me.

Saturday (today)--Went to a church give-away to which I gave and got. Also, helped pack up after all customers were gone. It is a neighborhood church, not the one I belong, too, but I have been going there for a few years for the clothing thing. My DD and family usually help to set up. It takes quite awhile. There are a lot of people who donate. Also, we took the two outside dogs for their rabbi shots(before the give-away). That was quite a trip. I think they enjoyed their ride-- they rode on the back of the truck. We did not go far, but they are both a handful. DH was in charge of the Lady, the larger one. It was all I could do to keep Fuzzy under control. He is only about 45 lbs and is ten years old, but he is so wiry!

Looking forward to having a good challenge week. emoticon

A local church near us also does a clothing swap. It's always nice to clear out closets and exchange especially as the kids outgrew clothes so quickly when they were little!
