I Just Realized...

So far, I have lost 23 pounds and I just realized today, that is 10% of my beginning weight! Duh! But what is so exciting about this is that I have never been able to do this before. I usually quit before achieving this goal. And, the good news is that I plan to keep going and I have even set my next goal to lose the next 10% of my current new weight. Admittedly, getting to this point has not been easy (particularly, getting through the plateaus) but to now fully realize I achieved this I am bubbling over with excitement...

    Well done! 23 pounds is not a small amount.

    Great that you've made it through some plateaus, and on to the other side. In my mind plateaus are really water fluctuation that temporarily mask fat loss.

    Just keep doing what you are doing. It is about month 5 now. Your taste preferences must have changed a lot by now. Veggies taste better, and some crappy foods taste dead. For me, I still like sweet things, but I can't stand potatoes, rice, and most breads.
