Training others not myself
Tuesday, May 09, 2017
I stepped up my game today. Approached four different people and introduced myself. Asked a couple of questions to see what they were looking to achieve, and offered to show them a few things.
They were really enthusiastic and I was happy to give a few new ideas.
So many people just do the same things over and over again.
Boredom and stagnation is what causes plateaus and loss of motivation!
Anyway, I offered each of them a free half hour taster session, the first of which is tomorrow. I have given my details and taken theirs.
So positive movement today. I'm so keen tostart helping people reach their goals and start to gain those rewards for themselves.
My sister also wants me to start training her, which REALLY surprised me. She's the one person who has been the most negative and sarcastic about my own fitness journey. But I always knew it was only down to insecurity and feeling powerless to change her own unhealthy habits.
Well, I am giving her a session tomorrow evening at the gym, and she said if she enjoys it, she will sign up. Bless her, it really means a lot to me that she came to me.
So I feel I've done good today.
