Back problem due to new bed

Monday, May 08, 2017

Bought new bed and very happy, till I noticed that having difficulty getting out of the bed. Had a neighbor make me steps to get into the bed but having trouble getting out. Went to doctor and told him the situation and he said it was common. He prescribed muscle relaxers,(not doing anything) and I told him I wanted Tramadol, well, he gave me the Tramadol but he gave me the one that is narcotic, which I really don't need. I only take one pill when I go to b ed because it puts me to sleep. Tried taking one in the daytime, and fortunately I only had about 1 mile to go and I had to open all the windows in my car and put my radio on very high to keep from falling asleep. So the bedtime one works for me. Once I am up, I am just fine. My doctor recommended I contact my PCP and set up a PT (physical therapist) apt to loosen up my back. I called and my doc filled it out immediately, but by the time she mailed it to me, it arrived on a Friday and too late to call. So today at 11 am called and it went to VM and I had to leave a message. Do you think they will call? NO, not holding my breath. Will call again on Wed, that seems like a nicer and quieter day.

My experience is sometimes they do, sometimes they don't! I usually give them time, then call again, I hope you find relief soon.
