On a mission

Tuesday, May 02, 2017

Ok, so I've been following two online training programmes, one for building muscle, the other for endurance and burning fat. And hey, they're great. Especially enjoyed the challenge of the endurance/circuit training one. Added a few moves to my mental database, lol. Things I've never tried before. But that one is almost done, only a few sessions left, so I will definitely be finished by the end of this week. I needed to find something new, and thought for goodness sake, I'm a fully qualified fitness instructor and personal trainer, why not make myself a damned programme? So yesterday I wrote out a weeks worth, and I will do that now. I will work on all those aspects- cardio, strength, circuits, endurance and muscle building. I don't want to be huge, but I love seeing the muscles I have already built. So today was crazy. Both of the online programmes, plus day one of mine which is cardio based (30 minutes interval training on the treadmill, 1,000 metres rowing machine and two circuits, each with four moves and three rounds of each. Then the strength training one, which was targeting legs today, then the other circuit based one. Felt amazing once it was all finished. Not sweated so much in a long time! Plus I spoke to a couple of potential future clients. I'm not going to stress about that. It will happen in it's own time. Right now I'm happy being a regular presence in the gym in both modes - the beast who consistently kills her workouts, and the PT with a passion for helping others reach their goals.

Well it was probably more due to the fact I did three full workouts one after the other, haha. Then I had to cycle up the massive hill back home. I may be pretty fit, but hills will never be a love of mine, lol.
