Strong and Lean in 2017 - Adventures in Hawaii
Friday, April 28, 2017
My DH and I are on our way home after a wonderful vacation in Hawaii with my Sis and Bro-in-law. We are so lucky to have them in our life and they are fun to travel with. We have had many adventures together in the past and have more planned in the future. They are still actively working (they own several businesses including a very busy brew pub and my Bro-in-Law is also a practicing CPA) but we are hoping that they slow down and divest some of those responsibilities soon.
While we were on our trip, I had a goal to eat healthy within my calorie range, stay off alcohol and sugar and do cardio/strength exercise daily. How did I do? Almost 100%. I stayed on plan with eating but I did miss 3 days of strength cardio/exercise. I'm going to count it as a success and I'm hoping when I hop on the scale in the morning that I may even show a small loss. Fingers and toes crossed! Here are a few photos of the fun we had.
These are TURTLES basking on the beach!
Heading out to Molokini to snorkel. You can see down over 100 ft. Water is sparking clear. Snorkeling was AMAZING!
Happy Hour at Dollies. My DH loves the pizza there. He said this was his #1 favorite outing lol.
Gorgeous flowering tree on our trip up Mt Haleakala. It was cloudy and rainy up just a little further!
Goodbye Sweet Hawaii...until we meet again!
