I moved!

The move is over! Now I'm unpacking everything. I have 3 weeks until the bootcamp starts, so I'm planning to focus on eating healthy, going to the gym, fewer fast food and more homemade meals. I love my new apartment! I feel like I have a fresh start. There's a ton more light in this place, and the noise level is much lower. I'll get my starting weight tomorrow and I'll go from there. I know I've gained over the past few weeks, I'm not sure how much. . . Optimistically hoping that I'm still below 400. I think I'm going to make a frozen berry, flaxseed, and Greek yogurt smoothie or egg beaters with toast my daily breakfast. When the bootcamp starts, I can prepare these meals quickly in the morning and be on my way. I just want to get in the habit of making breakfast and eating something healthy to start my day strong. I've noticed that on days when I procrastinate and skip breakfast, my eating flies out of control... I know that I can do better. Maybe a good choice in the morning will help me make good choices all day long :) I'm so grateful for everyone who helped make this move possible for me. This really is my fresh start!

    Yay! I know you are relived to be in your new place. The breakfast idea sounds like it will be good for you! I'm one of those weirdos that can't eat soon after waking up. I'm never hungry and if I do eat it makes me sick. I just bring a snack like yogurt with me to work & eat that if I get hungry. Are you excited about bootcamp? Just the name bootcamp scares me lol! Good luck on your weigh in! Just remember no matter what the scale says you can get where you want to go!

    Glad you're enjoying your new place!

    Getting a good breakfast in was a very hard habit for me to form, but, it has added a lot of stability to my day! I usually do an eggbeaters omelette (yes, you can microwave them and they still taste good, but, something about how pretty an omelette is makes it feel like more of a treat... I tend to skip toast so I can have the calories in cheese and meat, which feels more filling to me).

    I do believe breakfast starts the day out right, I feel successful at the beginning of the day. Keep it up and good luck with boot camp. It sounds like your environment is conducive to a healthy life. emoticon
