Feeling Better

Hi all ~
I hadn't been feeling very well for the last month or so. I was run-down, tired, over-stressed, over-committed, my feet and legs were cramping, I had restless-leg and my resting heartbeat was crazy fast at times. I went to the doctor.

All of these things are symptoms of low iron. I've had problems with low iron for years, but I had never let it get this out of control before. Over the last 4-6 weeks, I had been waaaaaaay too busy taking care of everyone else and not paying attention to my own needs. Being ill was the result. I've been taking my iron supplement for 3 days now, and I feel SO MUCH BETTER! I have lots of energy, my headaches have lessened and I'm enjoying life (even the stressors) so much more!

So. Lesson learned. I have to take care of myself before I can help anyone else. Just because I am overwhelmed, I cannot let my body and nutrients go.

I keep having to learn this same lesson over and over in new and different ways. Wonder if there's a message here???? Do ya think!
