Spring Cleaning ... The House and The Diet

Yesterday I talked about some small changes I've been making. Today I'm looking at more high protein vegetarian recipes to mix up the rotation a bit. I just found these Greek Yogurt Oatmeal pancakes that look good so I will try them this weekend.
Other suggestions are welcome!
I'm trying to make today a lighter calorie day. I've been frustrated with the slow pace on the scale, but then I went into my handy little trend reports and I've been averaging more like 1650 calories per day instead of my stated 1500 calorie goal. Soooooooo, time to tighten it up a bit.
This weekend I'm planning to go for a run tomorrow morning if the weather cooperates. Sunday there's a half marathon that a bunch of my friends re doing that goes right past my house, so I'm planning to make a sign and go cheer them on. Again, weather permitting. This weekend's weather does not look too promising. If the Saturday run doesn't work out, I'll go to my (indoor) boot camp class. Either way I'm burning some calories but after a few weeks of not really running I'd like to get in ~5 miles.
on the home front, I'm getting the carpets cleaned today and I have two bags of stuff to take to the homeless shelter/thrift store. I'm also planning some digital housekeeping ... time to organize the files, make sure everything is properly backed up, and probably finally retire my ridiculously ancient desktop computer. That'll seriously declutter my home office desk, not to mention the fire hazard of cords underneath here. I only use the desktop if I have a CD to burn, and it's so rare that happens anymore I think I am better off just getting a $25 external CD-ROM and calling it a day.
