Losing for Me Journey - 4/20/17

Thursday, April 20, 2017

Today was a vacation day for me. I had some appointments and I got them done with my husband early. We went shopping with my sister-in-law. I bought several tops at JC Penney for a very good price. They had a great sale. I evened picked up two cross body purses on sale as well. The weather lovely. We didn't need jackets. We enjoyed ourselves. For lunch I didn't order smartly at Wendy's. I had a homestyle chicken sandwich and a small fry. I felt sick immediately after eating. I learned a lesson there. Next time I will have the grilled chicken sandwich without mayo. I have to watch my fried foods. I have irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). I never know what will upset my tummy. I'm finding as I get older I have less tolerance for fried foods. I limit the fried foods to a minimum. No longer having a gallbladder certainly doesn't help. I'm back at work tomorrow and it's Friday. That will be awesome. I have earned $6.25 so far as part of my rewards system. I'm going to adjust the amount from $25.00 to $50.00. I don't want to make it too easy. Let's see what I've earned for today. - work out - $0.25 earned - plan my meals for the day - $0.25 earned - eat in my calorie range - $0.25 earned - blog - $0.25 earned - write in my journal - $0.25 earned - physical therapy home exercises - $0.25 earned * $1.75 earned today! Woohoo! I did well today. Charm

Good stuff. I have IBD so I can relate to tummy troubles. I love a nice salad with a protein on it and different things for texture. I used to eat burgers and friend chicken too. But I have found my tastes are evolving to healthier options.
